Project - Vinh Tuy bridge

 

» With total investment capital of VND 3,600 billion, the Project after completion shall help ease the pressing issue of transport and communication in the capital, reducing the traffic flow in Chuong Duong Bridge, contributing to completing the city’s belt road No.2 and creating more favorable conditions for socio-economic development of new urban areas by the two banks of the Red River.

» Vinh Tuy Bridge is designed to meet the transport flow of 34,000 vehicles a day by 2010 and 72,000 vehicles a day by 2020. It shall be the widest bridge in Vietnam, using pre-stressed concrete beams, includes a 3,800 meter-river-spanning bridge and 2,030 meter-approaches. The key part of the bridge has a cross-cut of 38 meters. In the first phase, the cross-cut is 19.5 meters
